This is kind of fascinating; http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/shared/spl/hi/picture_gallery/06/americas_inside_a_bolivian_jail/html/1.stm

An interesting concept, doesn't seem exactly like "jail" though. I guess I attribute that with a little more isolation. *shrugs*

heh whatever works.

Well how about that...

Looks like ladywell.............(town in the borough of lewisham)

And they call British
jails gaols holiday camps!!
Edited for correct (British) spelling of gaol, for all those yanks out there!

Someone saw Escape From New York and thought it looked like a good idea.

It is a good idea. Build a wall around New York before they realise and fill it with more criminals  :nervous: :nervous:

They're sort of doing that in Iraq; putting giant walls (http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20060815/wl_mideast_afp/iraq_060815115748) to 'block off' areas, then sending in the troops to sweep it. Not working very well, though; I think something like 400 people have been killed in sectarian violence this week alone.

The system works
