What Railgun?...............

IIRC its a weapon in the tbl that is never used in the game itself.
-
IIRC it has also been commented away from the table parsing
So (without resorting to tbm usage) first you need to enable the weapon once again (by removing all the ';;' in the beginning of the lines of the railgun entry. And then add the railgun to invidual ship $Allowed Primaries: entries.
Or do the same but use tbms instead.

What's the Debug Laser for?

Was teh Railgun the weapon used in the Perseus/Spitfire MOD?

What's the Debug Laser for?
nothing except work as a regular weapon. i tried it once, it has the same power as a Vasudan Light Laser.

What's the Debug Laser for?
I think it might be for debugging

Debugging? How? It's not like its going to help with trouble shooting.

V had been developing the game once, and the game didn't start with all weapons in it and al weapons fully written... Guess it could've just stayed in?
-
Spot on. Before they added anything fancy like Prometheus cannons and the like...they used something that was easy to test against. When you're more interested in how the thing is going to render...the stats don't mean alot but you want to make sure that they are there and interacting with the engine properly.
The Railgun you'd have to edit the table for. Its generally a useless and unimpressive weapon actually.

I don't no somehow I got it to work in the AHTW demo and it looked pretty cool almost like beam. IIRC it was very good against subsystems.
