Title: BBC's If... programs.
Post by: Rictor on September 04, 2006, 09:51:21 am
After seeing If Drugs Were Legal on Google Video (I suggest you do the same), I'm again cursing you Brits for living in a country where the public broadcasters take it upon themseles to create top-notch, interesting and educational programs and everyone else gets shafted. I've looked around all the torrent sites, and If Drugs Were Legal seems to be the only one of the series which is up for download. I also can't find anywhere to actually buy them, including Amazon and BBC's own store. Even a torrent tracker specifically dedicated to documentaries, including BBC ones, doesn't have it.

So, does anyone know where I could get these shows? Either for free (Yarrr!) or, if need be, for cold hard cash.

He's on about the BBC2 IF series of dramas. The one about gridlock was so realistic that the government actually starting looking into the problem.

Habla English por favor.

Frank is the government's latest lame attempt to send the "Drugs are bad, m'kay" message. It's lamer than most.

According to the BBC website the program is available here (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/the_day_britain_stopped/default.stm). Unfortunately I'm having a slow net day and I can't check that out for myself.
