[14:46] Kazan: a high demand handbag that is really expensive or something
[14:46] Kazan: they listed 50
[14:46] Kazan: ebay busted them in under an hour
[14:46] Ngreth: them or you?
[14:46] Kazan: they did
[14:46] Kazan: i checked my email about two hours later and was like "a ****"
[14:47] Kazan: but ebay had already busted em
[14:47] Ngreth: sorry they bust the hacker, or you and you ahd to inform them of the hacker
[14:47] Kazan: fradulent listings put around 11am central, ebay busted them about 12pm central, i checked my email about 2:15
(ngreth is a friend in the game industry - he's also an FS2 fan so i introduced him to the SCP)

In cases where ebay might loose money, they react pretty fast...

No complaints from me though... it's good that they react fast. A lot of people still worry about buying and selling online, so it's in EBays best interests to make it as secure as possible.

Glad they caught them. I have been ripped off by people on Ebay before. This is one of the million reasons why the human race sucks. While some people try and make an honest living, the rest go and rip off the honest hardworking people. This does not just go for Ebay either.

Good to hear that they really can raect that fast. Not that I use eBay that much (or at all actually), but still.
