It's been awhile since I played FS2 and I just now reinstalled on my PC (retail version). I remember there was a file that you could download that would allow you to look at the missions from the main campaign in FRED, but it's been so long, I can't remember the name of the file.
Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Uh?Open them with FRED....
Maybe I don't understand....

I mean, that when you installed this file, all the missions from the main campaign could be opened up in FRED, and you could edit them with FRED.
Without this file, the only missions that show up in the missions folder are the gauntlets, and the user made missions that came with the game. Once this file was installed, all the main campaign missions would show up in the missions folder.

You want one of the VP programs. They're in the Main VP in your root director, or should be.

yep. Check the tools sections of my FAQ for a link to VPView.

Okay, but what do I do with them?
EDIT: Nevermind, I remembered I need VP View.

Same thing you'd do with any compressed file viewer/extractor. Click a VP and set it so that VPView or whatever opens VP files, then poke around inside the VP.

Appreciate the help. Thanks for jogging my memory.
