Hi everybody,
I have got a question regarding multiplayer gaming. I would like to use FS2 as a kind of simulation/rpg and was wondering if it was possible to change the conditions of a ship via a console of some kind. Right now I am able to solve it through events triggerd by the "gamemaster" by targeting at specific objects, like a switchboard. It would be easier by typing in the commands directly. The available cheats do not fit my requirements.
Right now there is nothing to show, I just try to figure out if it is even possible.
THX in advance,
Breezer

SHIFT+ENTER, can't remember if it works in a release build too though. The number/type of commands is limited, mainly because we haven't really added to or expanding on them, but just type "help" to get a list of what there is. As is though, it's not the least bit user friendly.

O.K. that works for the own ship but not for another players ship. But thx anyway, now i don´t have to search any longer :)
Perhaps it is posible to do something like that through sexp. I´ve got to look into it but it should be possible to recognize strings and change the hull strength of another ship ( the "player" ) with a predefined number or even a variable one.
Has anybody done that before?
