Title: FSO not working
Post by: EAD_Agamemnon on September 19, 2006, 10:17:49 pm: I cant get 3.6.9 to work at all. I have the 5.4 Launcher, and the MV patch vps (mp-710_models & effects & adveffects). I get the Launcher all set up and targetting 3.6.9.exe....I hit run....and I just get an error.

Error: The required OpenGL extension '¨n' is not supported by your current driver version or graphics card. You can either use the Direct3D rendering engine (non-FRED builds only) or update your video card drivers.

256 RAM (I plan to upgrade but my old computer had this at one time but it just got jerky with lots going on but otherwise had no problems)
Hercules Prophet GeForce2 64 MB

This video card is from old computer...and was better than card that was in this computer...cant afford a new one yet.

I've always loved how all the opengl code in the source has the word "gropen" in it... :p

Post by: EAD_Agamemnon on September 20, 2006, 07:57:57 pm: When I installed the video card into this CPU it automatically loaded drivers (circa 2004)...I downloaded the latest drivers from Nvidia, but as I begin to install, it tells me none of the drivers are compatible. Where can I find nvidia card drivers (non-microsoft drivers) for my dinosaur card?
