Hammonds Jet car came a cropper, He's getting better so thats all good and well.

I hope he pulls through, Top Gear wouldn't be the same without him.

Looking forward to the jokes he'll have to suffer when he gets back on the show.

James May i can do without, Hammond makes the show feel less full of old people.............

I would love to go at 300 MPH even if i knew there was a crash at the the end.

I'd prefer to do it at least 100 metres off the ground, with a good chance of successfully landing intact afterward.

Cars might go fast, but jet fighters go faster.  :pimp:

Well, if I had to go, then doing 300mph in a jet powered car would definitely be one of the better options. Hope there's no lasting damage, both for himself, his family and for the fact that he's been a great asset for Top Gear (which is the #1 car show in my book).
