Rin Tohsaka.

She's a kick-ass mage, probably the best the century has seen.

She's the single living successor of an estabilished and accalimed - although 'quite new' by mage standards, a 'mere 200 years' - mage family. While duirng the day she acts pristine and is miss honour student, the few people close to her are allowed to see her tomboyish side along with her pricklish sense of humour.

She aspires to be the best at everything, so she does the best and only the best she's capable of and demands others to do so as well. While she resents the sacrifices in her past she's also fiercly competitive, ready proove her worth anytime. Usually she acts reserved and tries to always do the cool headed logical thing. However in the end she can fudge up things in the worst possible moment. Her most endearing quality though is her tendecy to in spite of all the bragado and cool do the right thing by her hearth and put everything she's sought on the line for a mere gesture of humanity.

When angered she puts you down with such a English charm, ('insulting you by complimenting your lack of finesse') that makes you apreciate Han Solo's proverb: "No reward is worth this!"....This is a walk in the park though compared to what she will dish out when she actually likes you! Calling her a tease is the understatement of the year.

Anyway, I don't know the character's name, (and the actresses name escapes me for the moment? You know the one, she was in 'Weird Science' as well) but the FOX of 'The Woman in Red'. Don't you just love it when she peels back her bed covers and says to Gene Wilder in that peachy English Accenttm,

"Come and get it Cowboy!"

Crap, I gotta choose one?! :p

Cortana's not that bad of an idea, actually. She's not going to be a particularly demanding person to take care of, and even if she's not physical she does plug directly into your brain and could doubtless make herself seem that way. :p

That said though, Amara. Just Amara. Slim, graceful, athletic. Runs for fun, races motorcycles on the amateur circut also for fun. (Which is why I would not let her drive me anywhere.) Never outgrew her tomboy stage but also doesn't particularly mind feminine clothing. Cuts her hair boyishly short (but I like short hair, nyah). Not exactly charming, but certainly someone who's company I would enjoy and not above some occasional flirting.

And if anyone really annoys me I'm sure Amara can be convinced to straighten them out. On the unlikely chance she can't beat the crap out of them, well, she can always bust out the superpowers and leave them dead or permanently crippled by kicking them once. Or just blow them to their component atoms.

A rare non-predatory smile. (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/ngtm1r/Haruka2.jpg)
That superhuman bit? Yeah. Eat **** and die! :p (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v307/ngtm1r/World_Shaking_by_trashydevil.jpg)

You know, more and more I get the feeling you don't like me and are talking out of your ass in some kind of trollish attempt to express yourself. Hell BD, I don't even know why you show up here anymore, it's not like you actually do anything.

The sad thing is those are the only decently drawn pictures (suitable for posting here, anyways) I could come up with on short notice; nobody with artistic talent seems to have a fondness for her. A pity.

Noez. I must justifyz my presencez!!!11111111111one

Really.

It's not my fault your opinions and the crap you write here are insane. I'm just connecting the dots for the sake of the big picture. The crap on the first page is really sad, but your post on this one takes the cake. It's nothing personal against you or my dislike against you or anyone else in this thread. I nothing you. Your opinions however, which I have to read through, while they remain as dumb**** as they are, is something I'll reply to from time to time just to test my sanity against, if for nothing else, for the sake of Great Justice at least.

You think what you write is okay. That's fine. I think it's insane. This isn't a discussion. I'm not holding a debate. It's insane for me, period. If you feel the need to justify your opinion or insult me so that you'd look like less of a failiure, that's totally up to you.

Like a wise man once said "I just call 'em as I sees 'em."

Title: Re: Ideal woman Ver 2.0 (character not actress)
Post by: BlackDove on September 21, 2006, 11:19:06 pm
Actually I ruined it. ngtm1r just felt insecure and tried to think up some insults in return. It's my fault originally. I'm really sorry I did.

But then again I'm not sorry.

A lot of you people think that this is something normal and acceptable.. I'm here to disagree and knock you down a few. Sure it's unfair. After all you're here sharing your innermost thoughts and feelings about who you'd like to **** from your favorite TV show, and that's fine as far as mastrubation goes, but a topic of an ideal woman being registered in your selective mind(s) as a mastrubation tool? And we're not even going to go near pictographic expressions of association with drawn outlines of a female.

Am I really the only one who sees this as something disturbing and... well sad really for the former?

*twitch*

I dunno. I always thought it was fairly normal for friends in real life to talk about characters in various media whom they find attractive. Maybe it's just because I run with over-sexed theater people, but I don't think we're that different.

Idealisation of that is not.

Nay, he was date-raped by a Lovecraftian horror his first day of college. Rumor has it that the culprit was none other than Ann Coulter.
Title: Re: Ideal woman Ver 2.0 (character not actress)
Post by: NGTM-1R on September 22, 2006, 02:08:56 am
I must admit I enjoy watching you make a fool of yourself. Further, you're reaching the height of hilarity saying you don't have an axe to grind when you didn't say a damn word about Flaser, or for that matter Dekker, but just "randomly" said something about me. Now, retroactively, you're scrambling to cover your ass on that front, which shows clearly in your fractured logic. Come now, do you really think I will believe you then?

Indeed, why should anyone believe a word you say? You've proved to be singularly unreliable. You've sat on your ass for every project you're involved in for months. I should know, since I am after all actually working on the same projects.

You complain about my opinons, but you don't even have an opinion most of the time, just a snarky comment of questionable intelligence. When you do bother to express opinions, as now, they reach incredible heights of absurdity. It's amazing anyone ever believed you were inteliigent, really it is. Here you're ranting on about masturbation tools, which is highly amusing for several reasons. I spent about one line describing the subject in questions' physical attributes and the rest of the post on other topics. Clearly that's not the way I see the subject. Otherwise I would have been on about how hot she was. If you actually had a clue what you were talking about, you would have realized that as physical attractiveness goes I shorted myself with my choice. However, the most damning issue with your logic is simply that you completely ignore the nonvisual aspects of a character. That's what character means, for God's sake, the way one acts, not the way one looks.

So, either I must conclude you're willfully ignoring the gaps in your logic in a desperate attempt to cover your ass, or you've never read a book, watched TV, or played any kind of video game, you have no idea what the word character actually means, and your contact with fictional people has been limited solely to one-off still images.

Option 2 sounds a bit unlikely, doesn't it now?

BlackDove and ngtm1r, whatever it is you have between you two, you really should discuss it out privately, not in the forums.

Anyway, I agree with ngtm1r's points. If you ask who or what would be my ideal female character, it is quite likely that I would not pick a real female. Because let's face it, real people are flawed and thus also characters portrayed by real people. The topic did not exclude drawn or animated characters either. It's not really about whether the character in question is real, drawn or animated, it has to do with how the character's physical features are portrayed.
