His is a play on it. I like his version better. Though it would be nice if he slid a "still" in there.
"The Enemy of my Enemy is still my Enemy."
Does that word look funny to you? Enemy. . .

*Fenris gets hit by beam, unfortantly for the ST ppl the beams were supperizingly weak(.10 damage, good for destroying those weak ST ships) the beam manages to knock out the nav system*
*Fenris charges beams*
Fenris: This is what you get for knocking out my nav...
*Fenris destroys the weak ST ship(5 hp)*

The ST guys rely more on outwitting the enemy rather than completely and utterly destroying them like FS...
That galaxy would probably manuver begind the Fenris and dump its warp core on it, then detonate it. The Fenris isnt fast enough to get a safe distance away (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

bah, anywya, the ST ship can't avoid the beam, capship beams hardly miss anything (apart from slashers, of course, which hardly hit anything (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/rolleyes.gif) )
-
Owch. You know, that would REALLY hurt, the beam firing THROUGH the ship at the ST ship (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Lol... Star Trek solutions to problems, always good for a laugh. Tachyons, anyone?
"Sir, we have an unidentified contact dropping out of a subspace warp!"
"Onscreen. BEEP! Hail them. BEEP BEEP! This is is Captain Ritard of the the federation starship Business Venture. We come in peace."
*****
"The who of the what?"
"I dunno, but they speak Engish."
"Well, I can't let them see what I'm up to. Charge up beams."
"Whatever you say, Captain Bosch."
*****
"Sir, they're charging up weapons!"
"Shields up! Return fire!"
BZZZZZT
"We've caused only minor damage."
"Prepare a full spread of torpedoes. We'll absorb their beam with the shields."
wheeeeeeeeBAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
(Large explosion)
*****
"That was pretty funny."

Wrong kind of shields! Those are cheap FS shields. It has good ST shields.

What proggy did you use to add them in? Use an addition or screen layer for their layer-blending option. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Yeah, and FS has multiple-gigaton level beam cannons. A photorp is 64 MT..... a Sathanas can dump like a thousand times that in a few seconds.

the sathanas can also sustain many shots of antimatter bombs (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)
plus the shivan shields are some thousands of year of use now, wonder which one has been the most develloped (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Yes, but Anti-fighter beams rip through shields which can stand more hits than the Collosus. Small wimpy beams like that wouldn't touch Fed shields. And you'd think they'd attempt to change their shield modulation if they're having problems with beams going through.
