So, my wife's friend came over the other day. She's going through a divorce and all and just recently became seperated. Her husband, like me, is in the US Coast Guard. She always was suspicious of him cheating, but never had any proof until yesterday, when she got a hold of his cell phone. It had all kinds of messages to one of his female coworkers saying things like, I love you baby and she had a message to him saying "making love to you is like nothing I've ever felt." The thing is, it looks like this has been going on for a long while. In fact, it appears just by looking at the myspace account that this slut's baby, who was apparantly fathered by "some jerk who left her" is actually his. Not only is there a message where he says "I promise to take good care of my daughter" (we thought he had no children until now), but when you look at the pictures of the baby, she has a striking resemblence to this jerk. So, evidence in hand, we presented it to this guys commanding officer (we have back-ups just in case the CO tries to bury it). Now, both of them are getting booked and will most likely get discharged. More details shall be forthcoming.
What I really don't understand is that his wife is hot, but the girl he cheated on her with is butt ugly. I mean she's not even a butterface, she's just straight, unabashedly fugly.

It's more than that. His "mistress" works in Coast Guard housing. They tried to throw his wife out on the streets so to speak. True, when you get divorced or seperated, the former spouse becomes no longer entitled to government quarters. However, they are given entitlements to money and the government pays for the move to wherever the former spouse wants to go. They tried to get her to sign official looking (but completely illegal) documents that say essentially that the government is throwing her onto the street like one would throw out some unwanted garbage. They weren't going to give her money, weren't going to assign a Travel Order Number, or Tono, which sets aside money for the move, and essentially try to intimidate her to move back to the Phillipines (she's an immigrant). No matter how you look at it, these two are jerks. I even have evidence in these text messages that prove they were conspiring to kick her out onto the street.

These things happen. It's an unfortunate and nasty business every time. It rarely ends up well to bothe sides, and sometimes both sides end up suffering. Someone should sue Life for being such a *****.
