Yes. Sunrise ver. 2 that is. I had originally thought to use the previous sunrise for this render, but strange things happened. I had build the scene and placed the super spray to make the beam, but come rendering time MAX would crasch. So i made a new scene, thinking some strange bug in the previous scene was the cause. Wrong. As before it crasched, come rendering time. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif)

Yep, the explosion is looking kinda solid. But apart from that, the beam is damn nice - maybe lower your overlay noise a little and you'll have a real winner there. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

That beam scares me... I wouldn't like to be caught in the middle of it!

still don't like the explosion, sorry. Btwn you should rotate the beam, coz horizontal is not good (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Add some particles to the explosion and it'll look much better.

Truely spectacular. But the explosion does need work. Maybe use explosion from the game?

Actually no i won't use any explosions from the game, because my mind is hell-bent on making everything in MAX.
