Title: It's not quite right
Post by: an0n on December 14, 2001, 02:29:00 pm

There's something very wrong about it and I can't quite put my finger on it. I think it might be a little too AD-Police'esq. Any suggestions (other than texturing it).

Yes, there is. That land mine neutralizer should not be positioned in the middle of the tank - there should be 2: one in front of each tread. Like this (picture from my army reserves) :  (http://sandwich.d2g.com/tank.jpg)

sandwich - I'm not to hot on current day military tech but it seems to me that if that thing hits a landmine it'll blow one or both of those mine-sweepers off... is it mean't to? they don't look to strong (compared to a mine).

Come to think of it, if it's an URBAN pacification vehicle it wouldn't really need a land-mine popper. Besides, land-mines are now illegal under internation law so I suppose I could remove it.

And that is supposed to stop people from using land mines?

Even if that's the case, it would be, ummm, rather a lot better to blow off a mine sweeper than a caterpillar tread, or worse, part of the underbelly.
