Title: Race Selection Question

I have downloaded about every TBP mission I could locate.  I am running 3.3a patched mod of the game.  The newbie problem I am having is how do I switch races in some of the missions that suppose to support it i.e. Survivor, etc?  I am sure it is something simple but my search through the forums and internet come up blank.  Any help or pointer to a guide would be much appreciated.

Lastly, my personal thanks to all the delvelopers and folks that support this mod.  You show that there is still giving and dedicated people/communities out there.....   :)  :yes:

You don't really switch races in the game. Only the ship you fly in. So from the briefing, go to the ship selection screen and pick yourself a ship from the available selection. If you can't get to the ship selection screen, or it has limited (or none) options for ships, then the mission designer doesn't allow you to swich ships.

Thank you for the response.  That is what I was seeing, no selections allowed or only the furies.

There are very few released missions/campaigns right now where you fly something else than EA ships.
You might wan't to learn the FRED so you can make your own missions :)
