I know this has already seen the light of day in another thread but I'd like to get some feedback on it seperately, hence this thread - whilst I've still got my creative head on.

 

What does everyone think? I don't care if it's positive or negative - and yes I know it's up to me and it's my personal design, but I still want as much feedback of any kind as I can get. Many thanks  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Eventually both (I hope), hence the relativly low poly count (or at least a poly count thats easy to lower).

Yeah - thats the idea  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/devil.gif) except it's much bigger (5Km) and boasts runways on both sides of the ship (it's symetrical down the middle).

Put a internal hanger on it, so when the mission starts you have to undock from the ship and fly down a short tunnel to get out the ship, mabye have a targeting laser to guide you out. The ship itself currently looks like a very good design.

Internal hanger? Hmm... could do - I'd better make sure I get the maps right on it though, since they can look kinda bad if you don't get it right.

BTW - any ideas for the top rear of it? I don't quiete know what to do with it yet so I'm open to suggestion...

It's 5K long, I didn't want to spoil the shape of the ship by adding turrets on this drawing, when the time comes I'll draw them in  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/devil.gif)

Yeah, lose the wings unless they serve some purpose (solar arrays? sensor arrays?)

if you like them, keep them: but I suggest to make them smaller then, and arrow shaped, with the thiner part facing back maybe.
