Creator of I'm With Busey will make animated show about 1980s video game programmers.
Adam de la Pena, the creator of Comedy Central's I'm With Busey, has signed with video game network G4 to create a show about video game programmers in the 1980s. The as-yet-untitled show follows two programmers who work for a small video game company that gets purchased by a Texas mogul who knows nothing about video games.
I'm With Busey was a reality show that followed de la Pena and actor Gary Busey through a series of comedic misadventures in Los Angeles. De la Pena is also the cocreator of Adult Swim's Minoriteam, for which he also provides voices.

Any thoughts?
-
How does he keep getting work
-
Minoriteam is pretty damn unfunny most of the time (with maybe the exception of White Shadow), so I wouldn't hold out hope for anything else the guy makes.
-
Tell me again why Adult Swim supports any of those damn comedy shows that waste good airtime?

Come on, Balactus was awesome.

They got some pretty good comedies still, I don't know what your talking about. Their newest one, Metalacolypse is fuggin great, and Harvey Birdman just started its new season.

Metalacolypse is pretty good, though this week's eppisode is sub par.

I think Metalocalypse is dumb. Harvey Birdman, however, is amazing.

Metalocalypse is meh, MinoriTeam actually put me to sleep.
