So...good or bad?
I know Google Video had some neat vids, but it didn't have a lot of copywrite stuff (such as music videos, anime, etc). Hope they don't can that stuff on Youtube.

Yeah, this is bad. Google Video wasn't free content and they took **** down quite quickly. Same's probably going to happen to Youtube as well. Shame.

this year looks more and more like the years of -99/00 when the big tech companies bought out smaller ones for fantasy prices.

Good point. They were smart and quite a bit lucky to sell when they did. And if they're really smart, they'll hedge at least half of the stock they got.
