This is pretty sweet, I suggest you guys check it out :) It's pretty deep (especially for an anime), and it's even sided, which is great. Very dramatic :)

Nice. A little strange is that the main character is a typical anime dude, while the other crew consists of Homer Simpson-look-alikes.

Well, do it's the author of THE anime space opera, Space Battleship Yamato. So you couldn't expect anything less :D
