here is the error report i get when i try to load this chapter!

You probably changed one of the game tables somehow. If you're running more than 1 mod, make sure they're compatible. If nothing else works, you'll probably have to reinstall the game or find a backup copy of the VPP file that holds the tables (like the weapons table). I don't have FS2 so I can't really give you specific help.

freak.........! I'l see if removing some of the mods does the trick cuz if it does not then i'm in seroius trouble.
Oh and what is this i heard aboutchapter 3 beeing a non SCP version. Do i really have to use the original launcher i mean the FS2 original executable...?
Edit: Not good i removed the chapter 4 tbl.s from the FS directory and it gives me the same error report. Also the original weapons tabels is still there in its own directory alon with the ship tbl.
Doesnt anyone know what could cause this? The problem started when i installed the chapter 3 nd 4 of the ITDoH !

If I recall correctly, the directions say to leave all the files in from chapter 2 except for a couple. I wish I had internet conn at my home and I'd tell you exactly what it says.
Also, not using the SCP isn't the end of the world, it 's a fun campaign and chapter 4 is even better...where's chapter 5?

Being worked on. Noise asked Trashman for a Nightmare cruiser to help with it semi-recently. I also vaguely recall someone mentioning it being split into two chapters, but don't quote me on that last.

actualy i also heard that its suposed to be split in 3 not 2 but also dont quote me on that! Also i managed to get the campaign to work but now it crashed the game to desktop oh well i guess its that elusive bug i heard. No harm il just restart the game again. So far the campaign has been great!
I cant wait for chapter 5. WEll first il finish up chapter 3 and 4.
Also did anyone else get Rockye's in the mission where you have to take out the Sfr Dis instead of some cool new topedoes?? I was just wondering if its a bug or its deliberate programing!
And again great work been enjoing it at maximum so far. I just wished it wouldnt of brought me on the brink of a heart attack.......you know what i' talkng about...our all time favorite "scare me lifeless crush me to pieces thingy" :D

Answers to questions:
Chapter 5 is "split" into three mini-chapters. Part 2 of chapter 5 was about seven missions long (and very very fun! :D)
The MX-50 bug is a bug. I've been planning on looking into it, but have been lazy. :D I've heard that you can use a secondary weapons cheat to get the Slayer Sprint Torps.
As for Chapter 3 not working: A lot of people seem to not read the readme, which states that all chapters of ITDOH are cumulative: you must have the previous VP's in order to play the newer chapter. Use the mod.ini to select ITDOH2 on the secondarylist.
Chapter 3 (and four, and a third of chapter 5) has furthermore been updated to SCP. The SCP versions are available on Hades Combine. If you recently got chapter 3, then it's likely you have the SCP version.

This is the new error report i keep getting. I removed CH3 and Ch2 but to no use it gives me the previous error as this new one!
Edit: Actualy it gives me a host of other error reports and they are connected with the Fury MK IV !

But do you have some info on how i can get beyond these horible errors and finish the blasted chapter 4??? I mean it has been keeping me on the edge of excitement for like more then 30 minutes. I want to see what happenes in chapter 4.

I'm having trouble with ItDOH Chapter 4. Chapters 1, 2 and 3 went by with relatively minor setting up and didn't give me any errors that would've harmed the gameplay (not that I remember any, at least). But the fourth... :blah: Something's awry with the modular ships table, if my analysis is even remotely correct.
Particularly, it does not find some Shivan craft for some reason, and substitutes an Ulysses for them. These craft do exist in ITDoH4-shp.tbm, but don't appear in-game (and are replaced by Ulysses):
-SC Raquel
-SCa Shiamak
These are the two craft that are below the SB Vindhyachal in the modular table...
When I moved the SB Vindhyachal's entry below these two, the SC Raquel becomes visible, while the ones below that one (SCA Shiamak and SB Vindhyachal) don't get into game. The table entries look fine in themselves, but it's like the game "cuts" the modular table after the first Shivan entry.
Ie. it would seem that *something* causes only the first Shivan entry to be read from the modular table. What this something is and why this happens, I haven't got any clue but this is the situation here. It feels weird, but could it be possible that the ship limit is exceeded here and an Inferno build would be needed? It would feel weird, since the chapter doesn't really add that much ships. :confused:

...that makes 16 additional models. Does that cross the border? I wouldn't expect that, but I really don't know what the limit is. If that's not the reason, then there's something more wrong.
I'm using the 3.6.9RC7 build, and my command line is as follows (when playing this particular mod):
-mod Into_the_Dephts_of_Hell_4,mv_beamz_DDS_HIGH,DDS_beamglows,mediavp368zeta
I have my reasons to use this kind of mod setup, but it *should* work, shouldn't it? :nervous:
By the way, the Chapter 4 readme explicitly tells that previous chapters are *not* needed to play Ch.4... But as I said, I can only get one of the Shivan craft to work at a time. :nervous:

If I recall correctly, that a missile I made and gave it to Noise. But it was supposed to be a capship weapon..

Hmm, I wonder if I have the SCP suitable chapter 4. It doesn't nag about weapons, however, they work as a charm.

It can also get rid of some of the nagging if you turn off parsing errors in the launcher.
Not for long. We're removing that option soon cause quite frankly it's like spraying air freshener to remove the smell of the body rotting under your floorboards.

I think he gets those error messages because he is running regular ch4 with SCP. .
I would think it would also give a bunch of errors regarding the $ND tags if that was the case... Non-SCP stuff always gets hung up on those when played on Open.

well i got all chpaters on hades combine! So i thought they were SCP. But just in case i downloaded something else is there a link or something where i can get ch4 scp version?

oki il give it another go but its wierd i'm sure i got the SCP version I onl;y downloaded the CH4 about 2 days ago! Oh well i'l try it again see if it works!
Edit: Well i managed to get chapter 4 to work ! But the problem seems to have been with other existing mods ! Actulay the game wouldnt run unless i removed every single campaign i had instaled .
Now it seems to work but it crashes every time i try to get some info regarding the Herc MK III as well as every other new ship i get to fly in game like that stealth fighter. Also how come the Kaiser does only Lvl-6 hulldamage and lvl 5 shield damage???
I thought it was something like 10/5 or was it 9/7 cant remember exactly.
However despite these minor inconveniences the campaign is awesome so far i cant wait to finish it and move on to ch5. or pieces of it ! :D :yes:

Install them correctly next time then. You're enough of a regular here to know that you're seriously increasing your chances of crap like this happening if you don't install mods in their own folders. Hell even if you're new to FS2_Open you should know from retail that its a bad idea to install multiple mods at the same time unless you do it carefully.

The last mission where you have to scan 2 ships a medical ship and a Enrynies heavy fighter at one point you get a message that says downloading new orders but instead of getting new orders you just get the same mission again! Is that a bug or is that the end of the campaign? Also how the frek do i read the fiction files?
Where can i get chapter 5 or pieces of it?? I read somewhere that part 1 or 2 was released or something like that 'm not sure!

Considering ItDOH Chapter 4, I did short testing and indeed figured out that the mod tries to add too many ships.
Warning: Too many ship classes before 'SCa Shiamak'; maximum is 130, so only the first 130 will be used

The description entry lacked the dash, comma, number and closing parenthesis. Edited modular table attached.
As for solving the other problem... Well, I think I'll just find and DL the latest Inferno build posted some time ago. :sigh:

That's by design, it's the last level. Basically the same thing happens in the end of 3 when you're patroling the jumpnode and the Vachandril (long snakelike ship) appears. So you're working fine. Now just waiting for next chapters :sigh:
Oh as for the fiction files, I put them here about a couple months back in .txt format I think (maybe it was doc). I don't have them on hand right now but maybe someone who downloaded them will send them too you. Also the fictoin files (early ones at least) are based on what the outcome of the mission was, especially in part 1 where you run from Cap and decide if you save that transport or not.
