After little conversation with Karajorma i've decided to make this request topic. There are at least two large projects which would've been really helped if this feature in which certain bomb-targetable secondaries would have certain amount of hitpoints until destruction. So would you (you=SCP Team) mind to try to put this feature in newer builds?

While your at it... I don't suppose polygon collision detection is going to be available for bombs ever.

They're proably busy coding... they usually take a long time to respond, if ever, don't worry about it; they're up to their eyeballs already.

Perhaps they could even add an option for bomb shields, as the Stiletto in FS1 was supposed to have a small shield generator.

At that point the distinction between missile and ship is blurred so much that you may as well use the same code. I can imagine that being a very difficult change to make.

Hmmmmmmmm...gives me a new idea for the use of a PVF Anubis...just put a fake turret inside a Vasudan ship's fighterbay and make it fire Anubis missiles... :nervous:
