TS1 is being feisty with me, so I was wondering, how do you texture an object, using textures from an outside source. All I know how to do is to texture it in the basic textures using the paint tool.
Also, how do you add beams and lasers, etc.?

Sorry, I'm too lazy to use Blender, I have it, but it drives me insane (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

believe me next to ts1 blender (especially the later versions)is the best 3d app on the planet

Alright, I'll try, but do you know where I could find a tutorial?

Use Max Sterling's tutorial, over at FSW:
http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fs2/mods/fighterguide/ ("http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fs2/mods/fighterguide/")
That covers everything you need to make a fighter. A tute specific to texturing is an oldie but a goodie, by Zarathud:
http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fs1/mods/Guide/ZSkinFAQ.shtml ("http://freespace.volitionwatch.com/fs1/mods/Guide/ZSkinFAQ.shtml")
Hope they help (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
