No comments, no suggestions on the expansion of the effect,  maybe using Variablkes to copy a ship of the players chosen class while using an external cam and explosion effect?

I demand acknowledgement ! :wtf: :(

Uhm,changing the player's ship class isn't necessary.

1)Put a fighter of the same class of the player's one 50 clicks away from the battle field;
2)Set a ship-guardian-threshold for the player at 1%;
3)When the player integrity is =1%,change the camera pos and orientation in order to show up the other fighter;
4)Self destruct it;
5)Make a Hermes appear then(arrival cue no warp effect);

It should work.Boosted with fade in,out.

As for the pod landing,add a ship of the same class of the one you want the pod to land and make the Hermes go there...

A hermes wouldnt be part of a fighter, The Sunrider was used because A- It lloks like it could break off of a fighter (think Space Above And Beyond) and B- its small and nimble enough to survive a firefight (more than a Hermes anyway) :)

I say Hermes when I think to a pod,of course it's too big for that purpose...

Thats fair enough,  :) Anyone else got any ideas on how to link an external camera via SEXP?
