Title: VCE Homeworld files
Post by: vadar_1 on December 17, 2001, 10:00:00 pm
hey guys

I wanted to use some Beast voice files from Homeworld: Cataclysm for my fs2 campainge, but I cant seem to find something to extract the BeastSpeech.vce file, is there anything that can open this thing?

EDIT: Replace sound effects with voice files

It must be in there, I think other people have extracted this before, but yes - Thorn will know for sure  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

Download the relic sound tool from relic.com with that you can open the beastspeech, then you need the in aif plugin(in) for winamp and use the nullsuft disk writer plugin(out) to convert them to .wav you can find the tools at relic.
