I just reinstall FS2 and all the FS2_Open stuff and when I click on the icon to star the game nothing happens!
I´m using a sempron 64 2800, 768mb ram and a 6200 video card, WinXP SP2!
Someone already got the same problem!? There´s something to be made?
EDIT: The launcher doesnt works too if it is in the same directory of the game but, if I put in another folder it stars (only the launcher)! The funny thing is: If the Mvp´s are in the same folder of the game, I can´t play even the regular FS2! When I try to start it says that is impossible to start a campaign!

I already play the Open, but since I change my processor I can´t get it start!

C:\Games\FreeSpace2\mediavps\fs2_open_3_6_9.exe, run by Unknown??????
Your fs2_open_3_6_9.exe should not be in your mediavps folder but your main Freespace2 folder and the same with your launcher. Put these into your main FS2 folder and use your launcher, select your fs2_open_3_6_9.exe and press run.

Yep, I´ve tried it too... But When I click on the run (launcher) nothing happens. Even on mediavps folder or FS2 folder!
Unknown is my computer name!!! hehehe

Let us have a look at your main Freespace2 folder and your mediavps folder and then we can check you have everything in the right place! :)

So you have the SCP 5.4 or 5.5 launcher in the main FreeSpace 2 directory as well as the build you are trying to run? Try selecting a debug build (marked with -d) and try running it. Also while debugging it might be wise to select under the Features tab -> Dev Tools -> Run In Window

Did you get a dual-core processor? I think you need a special build for that.

Not a special build. Just anything newer that 3.6.7

I have a dual-core processor in my laptop. and I'm using 3.6.9
Although Pariah won't run on my laptop. :mad:
