Title: FAQ + How to get started using FS2NetD (how to set up for playing online)
Post by: MatthewPapa on October 29, 2006, 06:49:49 pm: Since I am tired of updating my FAQ and tutorial in 4 different places at once, I have decided to write it up in only one place and link everyone there.

You should use this tutorial and this tutorial only if you wish to play on the fs2netd server. any other tutorials are not endorsed/checked by me and may not work correctly.

when i connect to the 3.6.10 server and try to start a game it says the ships.tbl is hacked. I have the latest official vp's and running one of the latest builds of fs2open. Is there anything else I need to check?

ps: i start the game with fsport, fsport_mediavps, fsport_str and mediavps

even worse, if I play on my own i get no stats either :P
