Title: Neo Terra too hard?
Post by: Knarfe1000 on October 30, 2006, 10:35:51 am
I played some missions of NT and I think some of them are really too hard or just unfair. The balancing isn´t that good. Who managed to play the whole campaign? Some tipps for me?

Actually I just did the campaign this past weekend on normal.  It was somewhat difficuly, (specifically the first mission..too many waves of enemies I think) but other than that, not really.  What part are you having problems with?

I never did finish that. Got to about mission five or so and gave up on it. It's doable but requires too much in the way of just getting lucky as opposed to flying well.

This is exactly what I think. The wingman in most missons are dead after few minutes. Some missions are only to accomplish with a big potion of luck than. Especially the escort-misisons (defending cruisers or destroyers) seem to be nearly impossible cause you are alone and have to defeat endless waves of bombers and even beam-turrets of the opposing cruisers... It´s hard enough to survive, but helping my big-ships to survive is just unfair because they are too weak. A blancing-prob I suppose.
