Whatever coin-op games you've played in the past...?

Romnation used to be my savior for MAME Roms.

Metal Slug and Darius Gaiden should be your first port of calls.

G-Darius also, but be aware it will run much faster if you use ZiNc instead.

A Multi Arcade Machine Emulator:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAME

Aside from that is uses LLE (Low Level Emulation) which means it truly emulates the hardware and not the software itself like HLE ones, the downside to this is that it requires much more CPU power, and the render is done through software, which means is even slower. ZiNc is the opposite example to this.

I either recommend using MAME32 Plus!, however in recent builds the graphic filters have been locked, and are only unlocked in the P4 optimized (SSE/SSE2) build posted at EmuHQ.

Air Combat 22 (predeccesor of Ace Combat) also works at 5 FPS for me.

There is a japanese version called MAME32 Plus! Plus! (or MAME32 Plus! +), it lets you use Kaillera, so you can play online any game that has a server, and if there aren't any, you can be the server. Of course the game needs to have support for 2 players at least.
