Title: Important networking question
Post by: Kosh on November 05, 2006, 07:02:25 pm
I have a network of 1 windows 2000 server and 25 client computers. The network is setup like this:

clients -> 3 layer    -> school network -> internet
server ->  router

the school network and our network are on different domains with a different range of ip address. I will install a second NIC on our server, and I can configure it to access the internet......but I also need the clients to access the internet, not just the server.

How do I configure the routing services on the server?

And yes, it is going to be a software router. We will only need it for a week, and also because it is expensive buying our own router is impactical so that is not going to happen.

You could just configure NAT on the server.
