I jsut got my new Enhance 500w power supply today. This thing works great. They only problem is there are alot of extra connectors with long wires. They did not come all tied together by one of those plastic ties. What would be the best way to straighten them up? Right now they are a bit messy.

Buy a bag of cable ties?
Failing that, do what I did and trim wires that are too long. Cutters and soldering iron FTW.

Normally you can get zip-ties, but most hardware stores sell these real tiny zip ties, which actually work quite well in bundling up the frayed ends of a power rail. Then, you can take the unused rails and bundle them together with more. I find the little ones work very very well.
-
Or use twisty ties, since you can take those off more easily than zip ties should you ever buy an extra hard drive or something.
-
Problem with twist-ties is you have to be careful they aren't the ones with little strips of tin running through them, it's very rare but I have heard of them brushing against the motherboard or a pin and doing damage.

I don't trust any twist ties as they all have metal in them.

Rubber bands?
-
Rubber bands would work if they did not break.
-
Get rubber bands that aren't DRYROTTED. :)

Or just get two or three on one bend to make sure.
