Hi,
Anyone who can help me out?
I got scp to work about 2 years ago, I have played it 2 months ago and it worked fine with the latest build and launcher,
I just downloaded a new build and it runs sooo incredibly slow, I cant get past the pilot selection screen, the cursor reacts about 10 seconds after I move the mouse:S
any idea?
I tried with and without mediavps(with patches), with and without my custom flags...

It's an illusion.................. ;)
Try using a different build, selecting Open GL, and removing any mods then try again.
-
Tried that already, I'm using openGL, when I use builds older than 3.6.9 I get an error :P and when I use a 3.6.9 build it runs very slow...
I have tried without any mods, but I just cant find the problem:S

Hmmm. I had assumed that the error was due to you running 3.6.7 not 3.6.9.
In which case what you'd want is this build (http://icculus.org/~taylor/fso/testing/rc7dot9.rar) and these media VPs (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,39905.0.html).
Are you by any chance running something from the CVS builds thread instead of one of the 3.6.9 RCs (Like the one I linked to above)?

I tried both, but I think it's my radeon causing the problems, every OpenGL related program is slow:S
now installing new omega drivers.. maybe a driver problem...I hope....
btw what version of drivers are best for an radeon 9800XT?
-
Umm, the latest methinks?

I found it best to not use Omega or Zeropoint drivers. I'm currently using the Zeropoint latest release just to test, and I'm not really impressed. I'd stick with the refrence drivers.
