i am not sure of that, but i am making one to do it if people want to use it because of any additional feature it has then please do by all means, i posted this topic for people to test the program, i cant physically test every possible eventuallity, i need people to test it in the real world and tell me what they think of it, and problems they encounter or how to make it better

don't make me open up the source to VP Constructor Suite and BIATCH you with that feature because i already have all the major code needed for it written

[edit]in fact.. biatching in progress
[edit again] oh.. now the VPHandler (builder) class supports importing files from other VPs - read via my VPReader  (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif) now i just have to add the functionality to the GUI over break, thank you, please drive through

VPBU = VP Builder File, it is like ur VPP (Voltiion Package Project) but as ur extension is used by volition u should change that, incase a dumbass got it confused!

vader thanks for the input, i am working on a second build now

your equivelent of a VP Project file (VPP)

doesn't matter if some dumbbunny confused them -  freespace 2 would ignore them

VPPs are used by Summoner, yes?
Title: Volition Mod Kit - VP Builder
Post by: CP5670 on December 22, 2001, 10:23:00 pm
VPView associates VPP files as Summoner container files, so it attempts to open them if I double-click on the file through FM/Explorer. (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Make it look like VPViewer and I'll be happy...as of now I find it confusing, since you can't see what folder the files you import are in.
