Are you sure you're Windrunner? :wtf: Your grammar and post after a wait of 30 minutes strike me as newbish behavior.
Anyway my only suggestion would be to try it without one of the antivirus programs. Given that they require system hooks, and I wouldn't put it past them to intentionally do things in a way to get at competitors, it doesn't seem like a good idea.

It's generally a bad idea to have two antivirus solutions running in one machine. It's much better to have something like AVG, or CA to do Antivirus, and then something like Spyware Blaster and Ad-Aware for your malware/spyware stuffs. I actually use the Anti-spyware plugin stuff included in Outpost Firewall to filter out spyware, it does a pretty good job. Failing that, I hear that Windows Defender is OK.

Ummmm, WMC there is a day between these posts????
I 'd also suggest installing another anti-virus software instead of the ones he's trying to install!

And what would you suggest then....?

yes, like others already said. only one antivirus application on one windows install. more than that and they start conflicting.

i didn't have any other AV software installed when the computer froze
