I dunno if this a bug or not, but it is bugging me.
I am a modder, I mod heavily with tbl files. I often add ships, weapons etc. Its fun, I know, but I do encounter problems. You see, I don't like debug mode of FS_Open and Fred 2_Open. They give all sorts of warning and other stuff. That I don't like. However, there is one big flaw: It can't catch small bugs. So, my bug is I can't make campaigns. I got my papers, my plans etc. ready to make a campaign, but it seems like everytime try to play a mission inside the campaign, you aren't allowed to load any weapons. So inside the weapons thing it would display <NONE>
I think that the problem lies with the edited .tbl files.

The problem lies with you forgetting to actually enable any weapons in the campaign file. :D It's not enough to choose the loadout for each mission. In the campaign editor you also need to go to the initial status option and enable weapons for the campaign too.
You're not the only one to make this mistake. I do it all the time building campaign files :D

I don't think it requires a sticky but it does need to go in the FRED section of the FAQ for certain :) I'll add it to my list of needed updates :)

Ive actually released a full campaign and a campaign demo to the HLP community while both times forgetting to enable weapons in the campaign file. Its was quite embarrasing!
