Title: System Performance Question

I'm having some frame rate issues and wondering which mediavps to disable. 

I was running FSPort, with all of the mediavps on, and during the mission where you escort the Galatea out of the jump node, I was getting massive slowdown when the Galatea and the Mauler collide (I died as well in the shock wave :P).  Anyway, which ones should I disable; I like pretty grafix.

PS: How do you disable the mediavps anyway?

move adveffects.vp and mp-710_adveffects.vp to a folder called unusedmediavps in the main freespace2 folder.
