Right now I'm trying to play the lightning marshal pilot (or prequel? I can't tell).

I can't get past the first mission, as the objective "Protect Actium" is never actually accomplished. It's also near-impossible to destroy the Liberty. I destroy all fighters, including the sentries, and yet I get no RTB message, and if I DO jump out I get an AWOL message.
