Title: Cartoony Textures (help.)
Post by: Al Ca-pwnd on December 03, 2006, 11:10:31 pm
I just installed the SCP on my computer and the game looks great. But we have these stupid cartoon textures for the Loki, the Herc Mk2, and about half the Vasudan ships. I have the 3.6.7 release of the .VP files Any help with it? Thanks in advance.

Turn off the cell shading option in the launcher, and delete the mv_cell vp file.

You should get the more recent mediavps anyways.

I have a feeling half the newcomers to the forums (not that there are many) just grab the 3.6.7 stuff still up on the other site (why that site is still up I don't know, HLP is mecca for Freespace)

3.6.9 version 7dot9x (yeah, i know ) is the latest build worth running and the 3.6.8zeta () mediavps :D enjoy.

Last update was November 10th, with a link to my installer.

Thing is that the site is meant to only publicly show the latest official release and that's 3.6.7.

This should be less of a problem once we get 3.6.9 out of the door and the site only needs to be updated a few times a year.
