I was wondering, after poking around Neo Terra Victorious' site (http://ntv.hard-light.net), what happens to the content of old, dead projects.
Do they just disappear into the CD racks of staff members? I sure do hope not, because I would like to see some of these old mods up close and personal, right in Modelview, and not from some screenshots.
So, what does happen to the content of dead projects, and can we have them?
(this is what I found myself writing before coming to my senses, actually)
Do thine disappear forth into ye sands of time to be forgotten to all but the ones who revive doth old CDs from the neglected racks of old?
Nay!
Say if it be so or no, for the secrets of thine dead projects shine forth upon our modern world. Thou art a fool to thinketh the ancients to be be so unlearned.
So, give us, the people, thine glory of thine old dynasty.

:sigh: :doubt: Ha ha. But seriously, does anyone remember that ancient campaign? Had a fighter called the GTF Praetor that I had my eye one for a while.

I tried to talk people into making the Technological Superiority internal/hosted stuff public before it was removed. I have a sentimental fondness for it; it was the first thing I downloaded and installed from around here. Unfortunately I was voted down.

I tend to 'dump' old content, and then delete it after a few months.

Nope, more like the stuff from Paradigm Shift and Reciprocity.

What happend to Paradigm Shift anyway? What was it about, and why was it 'the best community project ever?'

It just never got off the ground; too many people working on other projects. I'm not sure how much details to give, it wasn't my baby. :)
(truth be told, I don't remember the story anyways)
