Title: Use an image as its own icon in Explorer?

Is there any way anyone knows of to do this?

Only thing I can think of is Thumbnail View.

See, the thing is, I got this folder with like 900-odd PNG's, all 16x16px. When I view them in thumbnail view, they're huge - needlessly.

Install the (free) Microsoft Powertoy called TweakUI.  There's an option there to change the size and compression quality of the thumbnails.

its supported in win9x if they are bitmaps for some reason... no option, it may just decide to start doing it...
