Hi how can i use more ships in FS2?
-
Are you using FS2Open or retail? Do you already have VPView? Do you have a modelling program?
-
I now use FS2 Open. I have VPView on my PC.
A modelling prog? What programs can i use for modelling?
-
You can download a great many ships from hades-combine.com (http://hades-combine.com).
As for modelling programs: Truespace, Milkshape, Blender, but the favorite is 3ds Max (warning: it's really expensive).

Thx for the information, do i havt to add the ships to a new VP?
-
No. Put the model in data/models, the textures (if there are any) in data/maps, the table data in a .tbm file (look those up in the wiki) and put it into data/tables. Finally, a few come with new weapons. That table data needs to go to a .tbm in the data/tables folder as well.
If you have a VP building program, you could put it into a VP for convenience. That's what I did with the HTL Lucifer, and I load it as a mod whenever I wish to use it.
