I was just wondering, how did [V] make the Lilith's and Cain's tail spikes go up?
If you look closely, you'll see that whenever it enters combat, a tail spike on near the engines on the top will stand up.
I really want to know how they did this, or if it's something only they can do...
-
Eh, you sure about that?
-
I don't think they do. Sorry bud (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wink.gif)

Well, it might be the Cain, but I am SURE that a spike rises up. It might just be in FS1, however, but I doubt it, so check that one mission (forget the name) the one where we discover the Astaroth fighters, if you look at one of the Shivan cruisers, you'll see that it does rise up, and I have had first hand experience (I hit the darn thing and got killed halfway into the mission (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif) (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/frown.gif))

Does that ACTUALLY happen??? I never really notice it anyway because I'm so busy trying to evade its fire and the Shivan fighters at the back that I hardly have time to take note of it.
I think you must be mistaken.

So if this spike thing is true woundlt it be able to produce a swing-wing fighter? Say like the fighter enters battle wings go back, or vice-versa
-
I just checked it out to make sure but didn't really notice anything like that...
Can you take a screenshot and post it here?
