...this happens. If he dies, the next 2 years will be downright interesting.

Maybe they should start checking him for traces of polonium-210 :p
-
I actually wondered for a moment if he'd been poisoned.
-
How convenient. Mr. Rove, I'm looking in your shadowy, sinister, bulbous direction.
-
Oh, don't worry-- he's looking right back.
-
The timing of this makes me really suspicious....
-
Yes...because Bush has the power to cause strokes...with his mind...
*cue creepy music*

Yes, because it is possible for the Bush Administration to cause these sorts of conditions.
Honestly, both of you, that's just down right ridiculous. Isn't it just possible for a 59-year-old man to have a stroke without there being some hideous neoconservative conspiracy behind it all?

You mean like the convenience of finding out about mark foley right before an election?
-
Yes, but I think this a lot worse. Plus we also found out about a democratic scandal or two before the election......

Yeah, but none of the Democrats lost their jobs over it.
-
the mark foley scandal and other generic dem scandals were timed that way intentionally, politics are a dirty game
59 seems a bit young for a stroke to me, not impossible by a long shot, probably on the start of "at risk" age, but still, snidge young
do consider though, that our government has done some shady dealings and things less than ethical to assure power of parties and personal betterment in the past <and the very recent past, hydrogen fuel cells anyone(this one is highlighting personal financial enrichment)>
-
Anyway, this particular guy has had some bab health problems in the past, so a stroke is not a suprise.
-
I wasn't actually being serious. Even if he did have the power to order assassinations, I doubt Bush would start offing Democrats to gain political leverage....Unless he's, like, completely insane. Which he doesn't seem to be.
-
IIRC you can cause a stroke simply by injecting air into a vein, so it's really quite easy......but come on, let's be realistic here. Even relatively young people - i.e. 20s or 30s - have strokes (such as my uncle).
-
And like red said, this guy apparently had a common congenital condition (arteriovenous malformation, if anyone cares) that predisposes oneself for a stroke. Hope he manages to pull through, though.
