I don't know whether anyone has posted this or is aware of this, but Descent: The Great War is now available in a special DVD edition pack on amazon.co.uk (//"http://s1.amazon.com/exec/varzea/ts/exchange-glance/Y02Y0727637Y4699619/qid=1009437926/sr=1-3/104-6402348-2903958") and cybercity software (//"http://store.yahoo.com/cybercitysoftware/desfreesdvd.html") at the yahoo store.

I like this, too, on the page:
Please make sure software is compatible with your system before ordering. Some DOS programs may require a DOS reboot with memory managers to run properly. Make sure your system can properly run DOS applications before ordering them.
Now DOS is the unusual shell to have... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/biggrin.gif)

You think that's weird? Try this:
Software Title: DESCENT: FREESPACE - DVD
Condition: NEW
Media: CD-ROM
Media = CD-ROM? (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/wtf.gif)

I saw in Target (on the Value $10 shelf) FS1 and Silent threat packaged together. But, like all the games on the Value shelf, they weren't in a full box, just a case big enough for the CDs. But, what set this box appart is that (have you seen those wallets where to can fold them closed backwards or forwards?) the two boxes where interwined so that when you had them closed one way it was a box for FS1, but if you flipped one of the boxes completely around the other, then it would be closed and be a box for Silent Threat.
The point: If they're making these cool funky box, and putting the games on DVD... it seems like they're still trying to squeeze every last cent out of the games... so why not make *mmph! mmmph!* [JoeK has been bound and gaged for his views, this post is over]

I think it's in my local Electronics Boutique (game store), I should probably buy it since the CD version is kinda over-used.
