Title: What might have been a real fighter

Ok at least in Testors eyes it might have been :lol:  I've always loved this model and after a lot of searching I finally found a 3d mesh for it. It was in X-Plane format, which btw I finally found a use for Blender, converting it to 3ds.  Required some cleanup, lots of extra subobjects that didn't do much, (maybe for lod levels? i dunno)

Those intakes aren't exactly what i want, but i dunno how do to them correctly. Oh ya added gun slots for her and rescaled her to i think 30m.

Dig up some pics of the plastic model. The intakes are flush with the surface of the model and the intake ducts in the body almost follow the shape of the front edge of the covers.

Correct it was flush, however a.) I can't really visualize this b.) it doesn't really fit the bussard scope concept.

Yup I've seen plenty of pics to drool over  :lol:, in fact I think I might still have (or at least used to) have that model.
