OK, I've been trying to import models into one of my 3D Programs. I start out by using POF2COB to conver the POF to COB, and make sure all the textures are converted. Now, if I open the converted file in Truespace 1, it has no textures that I see. If I open it in 3D Exploration, the model does have textures, but if I save it as a .3DS file and import it into Bryce 3D or Animation:Master 2000, it has no textures.
Can anyone help me with this?
EDIT: Forgot to change topic, yes... Now I'll be known as the only person in history who didn't know how to use pof2cob... (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/rolleyes.gif)

Noticed the same thing. Just cope with it- there is no solution. I think it's that TrueSpace is just really bad at exporting.

You mean apply the textures by hand!? (http://www.evilnet.net/~mechwar3d/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/jawdrop.gif)

print it out, get a crayon, color within the polygons, and scan it back in

3ds files rarly have working textures, TS and pof2cob (to a lesser extent) are working, not that you are doing anything wrong (pof2cob does some stupid stuff), I would recomend useing PCS for POF2COB functions. as for getting it into 3DS formatte good luck (it might help if there is only one texture)
