Title: creating campaign problems

As my topic indicates, I am having problems creating campaigns.  I have the missions and they run seperately.  However, when I create a *.fc2 and put it in the missions folder and I click on campaigns when sorting through the missions within the game, the game crashes.  Has anyone else enccountered the problem before?

I am running the retail version of FS2.  I didn't have this problem before.  But I deleted and reinstalled Freespace and now it doesn't work.

When exactly does the crash occur?
