Title: Scooby Doo, another old DOS game with nifty ships.
Post by: bizzybody on December 25, 2006, 02:56:03 am
There's a large number of ships in Command Adventures: Starship (http://www.the-underdogs.info/game.php?gameid=3118). The graphics files are something weird, can't tell what they are opening them in a text editor, perhaps a binary editor might tell something? Could be they're something perfectly common with the header info stripped off. There's 52 files in the SHP directory. ;) Sizes from 23K to 330K.

Screenshots of all the ships can be got from the Ship Edit screen at a starbase.

The game will run with DOSbox and the D.O.G. frontend, I can send you the profile I have it working with.

Sound files are RAW PCM data, music files are just MIDI files with different filename extentions.

If you are looking for good shipmodels, I can only recommend imperium galactica 1. This was always my favourite game and it has some excellent shipmodels.

Looks interesting, although good luck finding what type of picture formats those are. Possible guesses are pcx or lbm (deluxe paintbrush for those of us who remember that)
