This is my first attempt at UV mapping a model. What do you think?

I want to try and put it into Freespace but I'm a bit stuck. I've converted it into a .POF using POF-CS and added all the subsystems and gun/missile points using Modelview since I find it easier to use. I'm trying to make the thrusters but I can't seem to add any. I click on the add new button but nothing happens. Can anyone help me? Thanks in advance.

Simple textures for a simple model, without making it look too simple. Not bad. The design isn't too bad either...

Looks good, the texture makes a nice outline, as Prophet said, they are a bit simplistic atm, but that's not really a problem, as long as the lines are clean and it looks effective, that's what is important.
It sounds to me like you are using Modelview to add the thrusters, which doesn't work properly for it. I always use Pof Constructor Suite to add the thrusters at 0.0 (and remember to set the diameter of them to something other than 0 else they won't show then either), then use Modelview to move them around, since modelview can adjust existing thrusters.

Flipside I did what you told me to and it worked perfectly. I've finally added my first ship into Freespace. Thanks for your help. :) With that out of the way, I can concentrate on creating better models and textures.
