Having played the SCP for a little while, I was wondering why only a select few of the missiles have a new high-poly model?
-
It takes time and a willing hand to model + texture each model. :)
-
Well...I suppose...
-
That and you don't really notice that kind of detail on the missiles since they're rather small and fast.

No one's getting paid to work on any of this. Complaining that they aren't all done is like getting a boxed set of one season of your favorite TV show, then turning around to the friend that gave it to you and demanding "Hey-where are the other five!?"
The people who work on the models usually hang out in the Freespace Upgrade Project forum, and while they usually listen to constructive criticism, they aren't under any obligation to do any of this whatsoever. (As opposed to, say, use those talents for a job that they would be getting paid for)

It's just something I wondered considering that half of them were redone.

To be honest, it's not really worth doing the others either. The bombs and a few other slow missiles are the only ones on which you can actually notice the improvement in the game, and those are finished already.

I don't see anyone complaining. :p

We could really use high poly loadout models though for people who play with the Use models for ship selection option turned on.

The Interceptor is a complete and utter must do. It looks like a little square with an engine.
