Title: SCP on PDA?
Post by: chief1983 on January 14, 2007, 03:43:01 am
I have a PocketPC, and I just realized it has opengl support.  Anybody think it could run scp without much effort?  Assuming I can find a 3 GB CF card to put it on?  I think it'd be cool to fly by stylus.

try running WCS or TBP, they'r only a few hundred megs and have everything you need.

I doubt that a pda has htl support, but retail should run with that :p

As far as I can tell: Not bloody likely. AFAIK, PocketPC can't run native windows apps (unfortunately), so you'd have to figure out a way to cross-compile it. 'sides, the OGL and DX driver support on Pocket PC is probably non-existant, and going by my own QTek 9100, processing power would be severely lacking, too.

Using a release build from latest CVS, fs2_open takes up about 5MB of memory.
