Duh? :D

Tobacco industry privately admits smoking actually not very healthy at all.

Of course it is. Just like region locking was never about "Maintaining release dates" or any of that crap but was actually really about preventing people from buying cheap DVDs from overseas.
Personally I don't see why the EU didn't just investigate the matter for being a price fixing cabal. It's not like the 10% of profits penalty that they can legally extract from the companies for doing this wasn't a damn good reason for doing it.

Apparently - and this is unconfirmed - Ursus arctos frequently deposit faecal matter in the woods.

I dont even care about that, I just dont want to be screwed in the ass because Region 2 always seems to have less extras than Region 1.

You must mean Ursus Horriblis.

Ursus arctos is the brown bear. The polar bear is Ursus maritimus, although it is a member of the brown bear family.
I looked it up, y'see. :)
-
Ursus arctos is the name of common brown bear, which has population all over the northern hemisphere. Then there are all kinds of third parts to the name, defining sub-species. Ursus arctos horribilis is actually grizzly bear, it's bigger than normal brown bear. Kodiak bear is Ursus arctos middendorffi [sic].
American black bear is Ursus americanus, and polar bear is Ursus maritimus, etc. etc. In general, bears belong into family Ursidae, and what is usually conceived as "bear" would be members of subfamily Ursinae...
What is disturbing is that I didn't need to use wiki to remember these ones. Nevertheless, here's (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bear) the wiki link... :nervous:
Damn, aldo was faster.

A fantastic M$ quote about DRM just lifted from the BBC news website.
Microsoft admitted that the CPU will be taxed further but Mr Marsh said "Vista's Content Protection features were developed to carefully balance the need to provide robust protection... while still enabling great new experiences..."
Full story here.

we all know DRM manages rights in the same way prison manages freedom

If it wasn't for the fact that DX10 is Vista only, no one would upgrade.

DX10 does look prety sweet.

I hate Microsoft..........
Here I'm stuck between classic timeless games like FS2 and Nexus, and new badass games like Bioshock and Crysis........... the torture........ its unbearable.....

Everyone who knows anything about anything in the tech world knows exactly what DRM is for and everyone knows that its not about piracy at all.
